TV News Producer/Short Story Writer

Archer is a Mizzou journalism major with an emphasis on broadcast producing, and a minor in film studies. 

Archer graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia in August, 2023. He has been producing at KOIN 6 News since September of 2023 in Portland, Oregon.

Archer worked at KOMU 8 News in Columbia, MO from 2021 to 2023. He worked as a producer, production assistant, desk assistant, digital producer and reporter.

In 2017 and 2018, Archer was one of the top 3 winners in the Joplin Globe's Short Story Writing Contest section for grades 9-10.

As a member of the Kinder Institute at Mizzou, Archer took classes in constitutional democracy and increased his historical knowledge of political discourse.
